Icebel is a company with engineering and manufacturing capabilities for automatic systems in Cold End equipment for the Glass Container Industry, with a main focus on line projects and the construction of machinery from the lehr to the delivery pallets in the warehouse. The Company complements its offer with packaging equipment for other industries such as, for example, food and beverage. As a result of the continued increase of its capacities and skills, Icebel became a regular supplier of some of the main glass container producers, having become an exporting company

Icebel started its activity in the production of Palletizers for different purposes in 1986. Initially, it developed its activity in rented facilities, having built new facilities in an Industrial Zone near Marinha Grande in 1996. In 2006 Icebel acquired a new manufacturing unit, doubling its capacity. Since then, the company has experienced continuous growth, providing equipment for several industries such as glass, food, beverages, lubricants, plastics, paints and cork.
Having its facilities located in Marinha Grande, considered the Capital of Glass due to the strong presence of the glass industry, this sector progressively increased its weight in Icebel turnover and after having overcome several challenges and opportunities, the Company became a reference in the industry. In 2017, Icebel expanded its facilities having doubled its capacity. In 2019, Icebel assumed its vision of being recognised as a relevant player in the glass container industry and, in 2022, two new industrial ships were built, having once again duplicated its capacity and getting ready for new international challenges
